SBRT WORKSHOP ON PROSTATE CANCER / JORNADA SOBRE SBRT EN CÁNCER DE PROSTATA

Desde el Grupo de Trabajo de SBRT (SEOR y SEFM), te invitamos a participar en una reunión sobre SBRT dedicada a la implementación de esta técnica en el cáncer de próstata.
Este taller se llevará a cabo el 12 de diciembre de 2013, en el Hospital Universitario de Salamanca.
La jornada contará con un programa en el que una revisión de la literatura de SBRT de próstata, se incluirán los requisitos para su puesta en práctica y la experiencia de los grupos que ya están trabajando en SBRT de próstata y propuestas para el futuro.
Desde los Grupo de Trabajo de SBRT de la SEOR y de la SEFM, QUEREMOS invitaros a Participar En Una Jornada Sobre SBRT Dedicada a la Implementación of this Técnica en Cáncer de Próstata.

Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy Group (SEOR)
Between
18 and 28 November 2013, was held in Seville the 1st Theoretical and Practical
Course on SBRT in the Universitary Hospital “Virgen del Rocío”. The coordinator
of the project has been D. Santiago Miranda Velázquez (physicist). The number
of students has been limited to 20 and the total number of teaching hours have
been 66. The course has been attended by 24 teachers from Andalucía skilled in
the art. The course has reviewed topics ranging from the history of SBRT,
radiobiology, image fusion, respiratory control systems, ICRU 83, SBRT clinical
applications and research projects. The course will be convened biennially and
it will be international.

Next 12th April 2013 the “II SBRT Workshop”
will be celebrated in Madrid
organized by the SBRT SG and supported by the SEOR. The meeting will take place in the Madrid Sanchinarro
Hospital (Madrid, Spain).
The Workshop will check the SBRT situation in Spain, will present
the medical physics group consensus, will discuss the proposed protocols for
lung, liver, spinal and nodes lesions and finally, the groups of prostate and
brain lesions frameless will be constituted. Information more detailed in the

Past 7, 8 and 9 March 2013, the V Portuguese
Radiotherapy and Oncology Congress (SPRO) was celebrated in Coimbra
(Portugal).
In the Congress the present and future of SBRT
and was reviewed in depth and its main
indications were analysed: primary lung, spinal and liver lesions. Nowadays,
the technique is expanding in Portugal
and five portuguese centers are associated with SBRT-SG
group.
Los pasados 7,
8 y 9 de Marzo de 2013 se celebró en Coimbra (Portugal) el V Congreso Portugués
de Radioterapia y Oncología (SPRO).
En el Congreso
se revisó en profundidad el presente y futuro de la SBRT y se repasaron sus
principales indicaciones: lesiones pulmonares primarias, espinales y hepáticas.
