Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy Group (SEOR)
Dr.
Rosa Morera (University Hospital La Paz, Madrid) has been appointed as new
coordinator of the SBRT Group SG during the XVIII SEOR Congress in Valencia
(Spain).
We
would like to thank the previous coordinator, Dr. Carmen Rubio (Madrid
Hospitals) her great contribution that she has given to the group during the
last four years.
The
round table about SBRT treatments held in the SEOR Congress was a success and
was attended by doctors J. Yamada, S. Senan and H. Cárdenes.
Other
SBRT subgroups will be created in brain treatments Frameless, adrenal and kidney locations.
Clinical
trials of SBRT in lymph, liver and lung lesions are ongoing.
