On April 12, 2013 was held in Madrid (HM Universitario Sanchinarro) the II Workshop on SBRT SG. Attended by over 60 radiation oncologists and physicists from Spain (37 centers) and Portugal (7 centers).
The Workshop was updated the current status of this technique (active in 25 Spanish centers) and the subgroups presented their agreed national protocols for lung, liver, spine and lymph node lesions.
El pasado 12 de Abril 2013 se celebró en Madrid (HM Universitario
Sanchinarro) la II Jornada sobre SBRT SG. Asistieron más de 60 oncólogos
radioterápicos y físicos de España (37 centros) y Portugal (7 centros).
En las Jornadas se actualizó la situación actual de esta
técnica (activa en 25 centros españoles) y se presentaron las propuestas
nacionales de protocolos consensuados por los subgrupos de trabajo para
lesiones pulmonares, hepáticas, vertebrales y ganglionares.

El próximo
12-4-13 se va a celebrar en el H. Madrid Sanchinarro la “II Jornada de
Radioterapia Estereotáctica Corporal”. En ella se va a revisar a situación de la SBRT en España, se
va a presentar el consenso del grupo de física médica, se van a discutir los
protocolos propuestos para lesiones pulmonares, hepáticas, espinales y
ganglionares y, por último, se constituirán los grupos de próstata y cerebral

and was reviewed in depth and its main
indications were analysed: primary lung, spinal and liver lesions. Nowadays,
the technique is expanding in Portugal
Los pasados 7, 8 y 9 de Marzo de 2013 se celebró en Coimbra (Portugal) el V Congreso Portugués de Radioterapia y Oncología (SPRO).
En el Congreso
se revisó en profundidad el presente y futuro de la SBRT y se repasaron sus
principales indicaciones: lesiones pulmonares primarias, espinales y hepáticas.
En Portugal la técnica está en expansión en estos momentos y 5 de sus centros
están asociados al grupo SBRT-SG.

Two Spanish hospitals have joined as new members. These hospitals are: Medical Center Teknon and Santa Creu I Sant Pau Hospital, both of them from Barcelona. Welcome!
Therefore, 40 hospitals are adhered to the SBRT-SG (35 Spanish and 5 partners of Portugal) !
Se han incorporado como miembros dos hospitales españoles. Estos hospitales son: Centro Médico Teknon y H. Santa Creu i Sant Pau, ambos de Barcelona. ¡Bienvenidos!
¡ Por lo tanto son ya 40 los Centros adheridos al Grupo (35 Españoles y 5 asociados de Portugal) !

In May 2012, the "IMOMA" has realized two first treatments with SBRT in a primary lung cancer patient and a retroperitoneal tumor. They will extend indications progressively.
From the SBRT SG we want to congratulate and to encourage them to share their experiences with us.
En Mayo de 2012 el IMOMA de Asturias ha realizado sus primeros tratamientos con SBRT en un paciente con Ca. de pulmón y un tumor retroperioneal. Ampliarán indicaciones progresivamente.
Desde el grupo SBRT SG queremos felicitarlos y animarlos a compartir sus experiencias con nosotros.
