I STEREOTACTIC BODY RADIOTHERAPY (SBRT) COURSE

The Spanish School of Radiation Oncology (EEOR) has organized this first national course in Barcelona (Santa Creu i Sant Pau Hospital) on the 7th and 8th of May, 2012. The course has been presented by the Dr. Ferrán Guedea (The Director of EEOR and Radiation Oncology Department of the ICO, Barcelona) and the Dr. Alfredo Ramos (SEOR’s President and Radiation Oncology Department of the Ramón y Cajal Hospital, Madrid). I SBRT Course, Barcelona

Next 7-8th May, 2012 the “I SBRT Course” will be celebrated in Barcelona organized by the SEOR. The meeting will take place in the Santa Creu I Sant Pau Hospital (Barcelona, Spain). The Course will define the technological requirements and quality controls of SBRT, will review the radiobiological basis of hypofractionation, will describe the phases to prepare, delivery and verification SBRT treatments, will present the indications and actual protocols, and will analyze the toxicity and follow-up of patients treated with SBRT.
