Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy Group (SEOR)
Last June 14, 2011 the first meeting of the SBRT Spanish Group was celebrated in the context of the Congress XVI of the Radiotherapy and Oncology Spanish Society (SEOR). Dra. Higinia Cárdenes (Indiana University School of Medicine. Indianapolis, USA), who is world referee in this treatment modality, accompanied us on this first day
In this meeting, two chapters were presented: 1) the short-term aims of the group and 2) the Networking 2.0 tools that are going to be in use by the members. The presentation of this blog was included
The meeting was a success of participation since there came representatives of at least 23 centers assigned up to the moment and others that also are interested in joining
El pasado 14 de Junio de 2011 se celebró la primera reunión del grupo SBRT SG en el contexto del XVI Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Oncología Radioterápica (SEOR). La Dra. Higinia Cárdenes (Indiana University School of Medicine. Indianapolis, EEUU), referente mundial en esta técnica , nos acompañó en este primer día de recorrido
En esta reunión se presentaron los objetivos a corto plazo del grupo y las herramientas Networking 2.0. que se van a utilizar por parte de los integrantes, incluido este mismo blog
La reunión fue un éxito de participación ya que acudieron representantes de los 23 centros adscritos hasta el momento y otros que también están interesados en incorporarse
